A FREE 5-week student-led occupational therapy service focused on helping you stay active at home and in the community.
We are in partnership with the UQ Health and Rehabilitation Clinics, to provide a student-led occupational therapy service called ‘Hatch Clinic’ which stands for ‘Home Modifications and Assistive Technology to Thrive in the Community and Home’

- Considering changes to your home to increase your safety, independence, or community access?
- Looking for devices or technology to help you to do the things you need/want to do each day?
- Trying to determine your needs prior to discussions with your planners or funders?
- Looking for guidance to navigate My Aged Care or NDIS services and funding?
What does the service include:
- 3 individual sessions – across weeks 1, 2, & 5
- 1 home visit – in week 3
- 1 consultation/resourcing session – in week 4
- A personalised report with recommendations to share with your usual health-care provider(s)
