HIIT is the most efficient way to improve cardiorespiratory health, join now.

Improve your cardiorespiratory health, in the most efficient way with Exercise Physiologist, Benny Noon.

The HIIT program is suitable for individuals free of any musculoskeletal, neurological, respiratory, metabolic or cardiovascular conditions, that prevent safe completion of the exercise demands of high intensity interval training.

HIIT is superior to moderate intensity training for:

  • Improving cardiorespiratory
    fitness (CRF)
  • Improving cardiac function
  • Improving metabolic factors
    including insulin sensitivity,
    blood pressure and body
    composition

The UQ Healthy Living HIIT program includes:

  • Initial Health Assessment
  • Training sessions, twice weekly
  • Final assessment after completion of training

All participants undergo an initial assessment to evaluate their capacity to safely exercise in this program.
