Physiotherapy

Are you suffering from back pain, arthritis, incontinence, posture problems, a strain, sprain or other fall injury? Are you experiencing reduced mobility, or do you require rehabilitation following surgery?

Physiotherapy can diagnose injury and uses a variety of methods including massage and exercise to aid recovery.

Physiotherapists don’t just work with back and sports related injuries, they are highly trained health professionals who provide treatment for people suffering from physical problems arising from injury, disease, illness and ageing. Their aim is to improve a person’s quality of life by using a variety of treatments to alleviate pain and restore function or, in the case of permanent injury or disease, to lessen the effects of any dysfunction.

What to expect in session?

We will begin by assessing your condition in order to diagnose any problems and implement a treatment plan. We will listen to your concerns, answer your questions and ensure you feel like an active participant in your journey to regain your stability, mobility and strength.

This might involve re-training you to walk after surgery or a fall; or improving your confidence with crutches or walking frames.

We will also educate you on ways to prevent injuries, through things like correct posture, safe transitional positions and conscious load bearing.
