A series of three workshops for carers
Wednesdays

These free interactive workshops will be delivered by our Master of Counselling students Melinda Elliott and Geraldine Dundon.

In these three 90 minutes sessions, Melinda and Geraldine will present around the themes of

  1. . Being a carer: negotiating change
  2. . Managing the demands of being a carer: staying well and staying you
  3. . The gift of caring and staying connected

These interactive workshops are designed to offer carers an opportunity to focus and reflect upon the challenges and gifts of being a carer, and the ways in which the challenges can be managed. Equally important is the need for carers to sustain their own identity and social connections, including connecting with others also in a caring role. A range of strategies and external resources will be offered as ‘take aways’ from the sessions.

We invite participants to enjoy a complimentary afternoon tea following each of the workshops.
